Sherry Sklar, Principal & Founder
Sherry has been contributing her talents in design, illustration, marketing, communications and project management for profit and nonprofit organizations throughout her career. Plumb Line Designs, her consultancy practice, can be found within FABRIC (Fashion and Business Resource Innovation Center) near the Arizona State University campus in downtown Tempe, Arizona. FABRIC is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to on-demand fashion manufacturing and home shoring sustainable fashion brands--a mission that resonates strongly with her. When it comes to strategy, implementation and impact, Plumb Line Designs will ensure that your company is positioned uniquely to cut through the clutter. Sherry earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications at Syracuse University and studied fashion design at Otis College of Art & Design. Earlier in her career she worked on the editorial staff of Mirabella Magazine, a ground-breaking publication dedicated to the professional woman started by Grace Mirabella, former Editor-In-Chief of Vogue. Her passions are fashion illustration, technology, art and design. She also teaches fashion illustration and design to private students.
